Rashdi’s creation clinched both the highly coveted Best Short Film award and the prestigious Best Actor award, marking a watershed moment in his career. Overflowing with gratitude for this momentous recognition, Rashdi took to social media to express his joy and appreciation.
“This is my first-ever award, excluding the one I received in grade 2, of course. I am deeply thankful to the jury and extend my gratitude to @saiff_florida for their wonderful hospitality. I believe in the greatness of God. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew on this incredible moment,” Rashdi shared on his Instagram handle, @rafayrashdi.
The acclaimed actor Adnan Siddiqui, recipient of the Best Actor award for his portrayal in “Jamun Ka Darakht,” also celebrated the film’s success on social media. Siddiqui, who had faced criticism in the past for controversial remarks, acknowledged the honor with humility and gratitude.
