In addition to the capital, upper Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir are likely to experience rainfall, with specific regions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Chitral, Dir, Swat, and Malakand, expected to receive substantial rainfall.
Thunderstorms and rainfall are forecasted in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, such as Peshawar, Mardan, and Swabi, along with northern Punjab, covering areas like Rawalpindi and Jhelum.
Central Punjab, encompassing cities like Lahore and Faisalabad, is also anticipated to witness rainfall. Southern Punjab, Balochistan, and parts of Sindh are expected to experience thunderstorms and rainfall as well.
However, most districts in Balochistan and Sindh are forecasted to have hot and dry weather during the Eid celebrations.
The PMD has advised residents to stay updated on weather forecasts and take necessary precautions, especially during travel and outdoor activities.
