A major tragedy was averted on Tuesday when Rescue 1122 successfully evacuated 180 people after a fire broke out at a private hotel in Gulberg, Lahore.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the fire erupted suddenly on the upper floors of the hotel, triggering panic among guests and staff. Emergency teams rushed to the scene immediately after receiving the distress call and launched a swift evacuation operation.
Firefighters managed to control the blaze within a short time, while rescue workers safely shifted all occupants out of the building. No loss of life or serious injuries were reported, officials confirmed.
Authorities stated that cooling operations were completed to prevent the fire from reigniting. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and an investigation has been launched.
