Bollywood megastar Salman Khan has escalated his security arrangements following multiple death threats received recently. Reports confirm that the ‘Dabangg’ icon has invested in a state-of-the-art bulletproof car to ensure his protection. According to sources from Bollywood Society, Salman Khan has procured a bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV, which he is importing from Dubai due to its unavailability in India. The luxurious vehicle, valued at approximately Rs 2 crore, is expected to incur additional costs for expedited delivery to India.
Details about the Nissan Patrol reveal advanced security features, including explosive detection sensors, reinforced glass capable of withstanding gunfire, and tinted windows for enhanced privacy. This isn’t the first time Salman Khan has taken such measures; previously, he imported another bulletproof vehicle from the UAE after facing threats from the Bishnoi gang, notorious for targeting him and his family.
The threat level escalated following the recent murder of politician Baba Siddiqui, a close associate of Salman Khan, with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claiming responsibility. Despite ongoing police investigations, the threats against Khan persist, underscored by a recent message demanding Rs 5 crore to ensure his safety.
Salman Khan resumed his duties on the set of Bigg Boss 18 amidst stringent security measures, with over 60 personnel deployed for protection. Access to the set has been significantly restricted, with thorough identity verification protocols in place. Salman continues to host the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes under heightened security, ensuring safety amid the ongoing tensions.
