Sana Qureshi, the third wife of renowned Pakistani actor Faysal Quraishi, recently shared intimate details of her past, including her previous divorce, during an appearance on Faysal’s podcast. The conversation, which covered the couple’s journey together, revealed insights into their relationship and how they ultimately decided to marry.
When asked by Faysal about their first meeting, Sana recalled it as “quite dramatic,” even joking that it could have been a plot for a drama. She went on to explain that before marrying Faysal, she was previously divorced, and during her ‘iddat’ (waiting period), Faysal’s proposal came through. Sana credited her aunt for playing a crucial role in persuading both her and her family to consider Faysal’s proposal.
Sana opened up about the difficult phase she was going through at the time, expressing her initial reluctance to make any major decisions. She clarified that while some people believed she married Faysal to escape the complications of her past, she ultimately saw the marriage as a way to move forward, feeling it was the best decision for her.
Faysal shared his side of the story, revealing that he first met Sana at her cousin’s wedding, where he was immediately drawn to her. Despite asking for her phone number, Sana initially declined to share it. After learning about her divorce, Faysal made another attempt, this time through Sana’s aunt, and proposed marriage.
The couple’s wedding took place quietly during the month of Ramadan. Faysal recalled bringing Sana home in a simple outfit, emphasizing the modesty of their ceremony.
Faysal and Sana married in 2010 and have two children together: a daughter, Ayat, and a son, Furman Qureshi. Faysal’s first marriage, which ended in divorce, produced a daughter, Hanash Qureshi, who has since entered the entertainment industry.
