Islamabad: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has allocated a Hajj quota of 179,210 pilgrims for Pakistan for the upcoming Hajj season, the Ministry of Religious Affairs announced. The decision comes as part of ongoing cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to ensure better facilities and arrangements for pilgrims.
Officials confirmed that the new quota will allow more Pakistanis to perform Hajj under both government and private schemes, with efforts underway to streamline visa processing, accommodation, and transportation in Makkah and Madinah.
Minister for Religious Affairs said that this year’s Hajj operations will feature enhanced digital services, improved training programs, and greater transparency to facilitate pilgrims.
The announcement has been welcomed nationwide, with many calling it a testament to the deepening religious and diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
