Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has stated that Saudi Arabia will stand firmly with Pakistan in the event of any Indian aggression. Speaking to reporters on Monday, Asif emphasized that Islamabad and Riyadh share deep strategic, religious, and defense ties that go beyond traditional diplomacy.
“As a brotherly nation, Saudi Arabia has assured Pakistan of its full support in any scenario where our sovereignty is challenged,” Asif said, adding that the cooperation between the two countries extends across defense, trade, and regional security.
The statement comes amid escalating tensions in South Asia, with analysts noting that Riyadh’s stance could significantly shift the strategic balance in the region.
Observers believe Saudi backing may strengthen Pakistan’s diplomatic position and send a strong message of unity among Muslim nations in times of crisis.
