Saudi Arabia’s budget airline Flyadeal has officially commenced its flight operations in Pakistan, further strengthening air connectivity between the two nations. The airline, a subsidiary of Saudia Group, aims to offer affordable travel options for passengers traveling between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Flyadeal’s inaugural flight landed in Karachi, marking the beginning of its operations in the country. The airline will initially operate flights from Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad to major Saudi cities, including Jeddah and Riyadh.
Speaking at the launch event, Flyadeal’s CEO emphasized the airline’s commitment to providing cost-effective and high-quality air travel services. He highlighted Pakistan as a key market, particularly due to the large number of Pakistani expatriates living and working in Saudi Arabia.
With competitive fares and a focus on digital-first services, Flyadeal is expected to provide more travel options for passengers, catering to both business and leisure travelers. The airline operates a modern fleet of Airbus A320neo aircraft, ensuring fuel efficiency and passenger comfort.
The launch of Flyadeal in Pakistan comes amid growing air travel demand between the two countries, particularly for Hajj, Umrah, and labor market travel. Industry experts anticipate that the entry of a new budget airline will increase competition and lead to lower ticket prices for travelers.
Passengers can now book Flyadeal flights through the airline’s official website and mobile app.
