Islamabad, October 8, 2024: A high-level Saudi delegation is set to visit Pakistan from October 9th to 11th, marking a significant step in the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries. The visit, led by senior officials and key business leaders, is expected to focus on enhancing economic, trade, and diplomatic ties, as well as exploring new avenues for cooperation in regional security and energy.
During their stay, the delegation will meet with Pakistani leaders, including President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar, and senior ministers. Discussions will center on expanding trade partnerships, fostering investment in key sectors like energy, infrastructure, and agriculture, and exploring opportunities for joint ventures.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have long maintained a close relationship based on shared historical, cultural, and religious ties. Saudi Arabia is one of Pakistan’s major trade partners and a significant source of remittances from the large Pakistani diaspora in the Kingdom.
This visit is expected to build on previous efforts to bolster strategic and economic cooperation, as both countries seek to navigate regional challenges and tap into new opportunities for mutual growth.
