Shahzaib Rind, the newly crowned World Karate Combat Light Heavyweight Champion, was greeted with an exuberant celebration upon his return to Pakistan from Singapore late Saturday.
At Islamabad International Airport, Rind received a warm welcome from a host of dignitaries, including Nadeem Irshad Kayani, Secretary of the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination, and Additional Secretary Zahoor Ahmed. Shahid Islam, Deputy Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB), along with representatives from the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme and former Deputy Mayor of Islamabad Zeeshan Ali Naqvi, were also present to honor his achievement.
A large crowd of enthusiastic fans cheered and applauded, celebrating Rind’s remarkable accomplishment and solidifying his status as a national hero. His victory has not only brought pride to his supporters but has also inspired many aspiring athletes across the country.
