In a disturbing turn of events, the sister of a murdered landlord in Pakpattan has been accused of being the mastermind behind her elder brother’s brutal killing. The shocking revelation came to light as local authorities apprehended the woman and her alleged accomplice.
The victim, 50-year-old Basheer Ahmed, a landlord residing in the Chanot area within the Malka Hans Police Station’s jurisdiction, had been found dead under suspicious circumstances. His brother reported his disappearance, and subsequent investigations led the police to believe foul play was involved.
Malka Hans Police Station’s SHO, Malik Faisal Hussain, disclosed that during the investigation, their suspicions fell on Basheer’s sister and an employee named Ashraf. The motive behind the gruesome act was allegedly rooted in the sister’s romantic involvement with Ashraf. She desired to marry him but perceived her elder brother as an obstacle in their path.
To eliminate this perceived hindrance, the suspects reportedly used a sharp instrument to take Basheer Ahmed’s life. His body was discovered near a tube well owned by Mian Ghafoor in the village. Police retrieved the body and initiated a case against unknown assailants based on the brother’s complaint.
However, as the investigation unfolded, the evidence against the sister and Ashraf became increasingly compelling. After rigorous interrogation, both suspects allegedly confessed to their involvement in the murder, and the murder weapon was recovered.
Gujrat, Pakistan: In a separate, equally unsettling incident in Gujrat, authorities have arrested a man for the murder of his own father, a 70-year-old laborer named Muhammad Hussain. The tragic event occurred when Hussain was guarding a water pump in a rice field during the night.
Police had initially filed a case against unidentified individuals based on a complaint from the victim’s 45-year-old son, Shahid Hussain. However, a swift investigation by a special team led to the shocking revelation that Shahid himself was the alleged perpetrator.
According to authorities, Shahid Hussain confessed to orchestrating the crime. He had apparently hatched a plan to force his father into the fields to guard the water pump, only to brutally murder him there. The motive behind this gruesome act is believed to be rooted in a dispute over land ownership. Shahid had reportedly demanded that his father sell land so he could purchase a rickshaw, a request Muhammad Hussain had rejected.
Shahid Hussain’s arrest occurred shortly after he had completed his father’s last rites, adding a chilling layer to this horrifying crime. Police had become suspicious of Shahid when he allegedly provided contradictory statements about his whereabouts on the night of the murder. This led to close monitoring and eventual arrest.
Both of these deeply disturbing cases have sent shockwaves through their respective communities, shedding light on the darkest corners of human relationships and the potential for violence within families. Police investigations are ongoing, and the suspects will face justice in the courts of law.
