Renowned Pakistani singer and philanthropist Abrar Ul Haq has released a new patriotic anthem to celebrate what he calls “Haq’s victory against India,” stirring a wave of national pride across social media platforms.
The song, titled “Jeet Ka Geet” (“Song of Victory”), blends traditional Punjabi folk rhythms with powerful nationalistic lyrics, reflecting themes of resilience, unity, and triumph. While Abrar has not clarified whether “Haq” refers metaphorically to justice or to a specific individual or cause, fans have interpreted it as a symbolic celebration of Pakistan’s recent strategic or diplomatic success in a tense regional standoff with India.
In a video message accompanying the release, Abrar stated, “This song is for every Pakistani who stands for truth and dignity. It’s not just a song, it’s a message — haq kabhi har nahi maanta (truth never accepts defeat).”
The anthem features a stirring chorus, martial drums, and visuals of Pakistani landmarks, cricket triumphs, and military parades. The track has already gained millions of views on YouTube within hours of release and is trending on X (formerly Twitter) under the hashtag #JeetKaGeet.
Political commentators and fans alike are calling it one of Abrar’s most bold and timely releases. However, the song has also sparked mixed reactions across the border, with some Indian media outlets criticizing it as nationalistic posturing.
Regardless of the controversy, “Jeet Ka Geet” has clearly struck a chord in Pakistan, uniting fans in celebration of what Abrar describes as “a win for truth, dignity, and the spirit of Pakistan.”
