As winter approaches, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced a revised gas supply schedule, aiming to prioritize household consumers across the country. Given increased demand, particularly in colder regions, SNGPL has opted to reduce supplies to select commercial and industrial sectors, ensuring domestic usage remains unaffected.
According to the new schedule, domestic consumers will experience uninterrupted gas supply during peak hours, especially in the morning and evening when demand surges. SNGPL has urged consumers to adopt energy conservation practices to ensure efficient use of gas resources during the winter.
This initiative comes amid an ongoing energy crisis, with the government and SNGPL working to strike a balance between industry requirements and essential household needs.
