Sony Pictures has officially announced the highly-anticipated return of the beloved franchise with Jumanji 3, set to hit theaters in 2026. According to The Hollywood Reporter, fans can look forward to another thrilling adventure filled with action and comedy.
The film will reunite the star-studded cast, featuring Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black, who have all brought their unique charm to the previous installments.
Director Jake Kasdan, who helmed both Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) and Jumanji: The Next Level (2019), will return to guide the next chapter of this exciting saga. Hart expressed their enthusiasm, stating, “[Dwayne and I] are talking about, of course, another Jumanji. That’s been a conversation.” He added, “And just figuring out what would or could be in the final chapter. He and I, we feel like we need something big to put our duo to like [a fitting] end.”
