President of Türkiye has emphasized that the world must come together to “heal the wounds of the people of Gaza,” urging the international community to take meaningful steps toward ending the humanitarian catastrophe unfolding in the besieged territory.
Speaking at a regional peace conference, the President condemned the ongoing violence and collective punishment of civilians, calling it a “moral test for humanity.”
“The people of Gaza have suffered enough. It is the duty of every nation that values justice and human dignity to act now — to deliver aid, ensure peace, and rebuild what has been destroyed,” the President said.
He reaffirmed Türkiye’s firm support for the Palestinian cause, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
The President also announced that Türkiye would expand humanitarian aid deliveries, medical support, and reconstruction efforts in coordination with international partners and relief organizations.
