Three passengers were killed and over 30 others, including women and children, injured when a speeding passenger coach overturned in the Lakpass area of Mastung district on Tuesday.
According to local police, the Karachi-bound passenger coach, which was coming from Quetta, lost control and rolled over on the Quetta-Karachi highway. The crash resulted in three fatalities and left more than 30 passengers injured. Rescue teams and police quickly responded to the scene, transporting the injured and the bodies to a nearby hospital.
Reports indicate that the driver had swerved to avoid a collision with a motorcyclist, which led to the accident.
Bullet-Riddled Bodies of Three Brothers Found in Kalat
Kalat, Balochistan – In a separate incident, the Levies Force discovered the bullet-riddled bodies of three brothers in the Johan area of Kalat district on Tuesday.
Officials confirmed that locals alerted the Levies Force about three bodies found in the Namak area of tehsil Johan. The victims, identified as Sharifullah, Azmatullah, and Sohrab, sons of Habibullah from the Lehri tribe, had multiple gunshot wounds to the upper parts of their bodies, which led to their immediate deaths.
The bodies, which appeared to have been there for at least two days, were transported to the Rural Health Centre in Mangochar for post-mortem. Following completion of medico-legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to their families. A case has been registered, and investigations are ongoing. The motive behind the killings remains unclear, and the family has not named any suspects at this time.
