Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of Pakistan’s Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) party, has described former US President Donald Trump as the “biggest enemy of Muslims.” Speaking at a political gathering on Sunday, Fazl criticized Trump’s policies during his presidency, accusing him of promoting Islamophobia and targeting Muslim-majority nations.
Fazl highlighted incidents such as the controversial travel ban on citizens from several Muslim countries and Trump’s stance on Palestine as examples of anti-Muslim policies. He also urged Muslim nations to unite and resist what he termed as “Western attempts to undermine Islamic values and sovereignty.”
The remarks come amid growing global discourse on Islamophobia and rising tensions in many Muslim-majority regions. Fazl called on Pakistan’s leadership to take a firm stance against global injustice and support Muslim communities worldwide.
