Rawalpindi: In a bid to address the growing demand for English proficiency and enhance global competitiveness, the United States Embassy has initiated a specialized training program for English teachers in Pakistan.
The program, spearheaded by the embassy’s Regional English Language Office, aims to equip teachers with advanced language skills, enabling them to provide high-quality education to their students.
The inaugural phase of this initiative kicked off in Rawalpindi district, with many male and female educators participating in sessions held at the Quaid-e-Azam Academy.
This training is part of the Small Grants 2024 initiative and is designed to empower teachers by improving their English proficiency and teaching methodologies.
Officials highlighted that the program seeks to bridge the gap in language instruction and prepare students for a competitive global environment.
The effort underscores a significant step towards enhancing educational standards and fostering international collaboration in Pakistan.
