In a significant move to strengthen bilateral relations, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced plans to issue five-year multiple-entry visas to 100,000 Pakistani nationals. This development was revealed during a meeting between Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori and UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi at the UAE Consulate in Karachi.
During the visit, Governor Tessori toured the visa center within the consulate and interacted with visa applicants, acknowledging the deep respect and affection demonstrated by the UAE through this initiative. Ambassador Al Zaabi confirmed that all previous visa-related issues have been resolved, enabling Pakistani citizens to apply for the five-year visas.
The introduction of these long-term visas reflects the UAE’s commitment to fostering closer ties with Pakistan and enhancing opportunities for tourism, business, and cultural exchange.
