Uzbekistan Airways has officially announced the launch of a new weekly direct flight route connecting Tashkent and Islamabad, starting from May 24, 2025.
The move is aimed at enhancing air connectivity between Pakistan and Uzbekistan, strengthening bilateral ties, and boosting economic, cultural, and tourism exchanges between the two nations.
According to a statement by the Uzbek Embassy in Islamabad, this new service is part of a broader initiative to deepen regional cooperation. Currently, the airline operates direct flights between Tashkent and Lahore twice a week. The addition of Islamabad to its network marks a strategic expansion in Pakistan.
Travelers and business communities in both countries have welcomed the announcement, hoping it will make travel more convenient and foster greater collaboration across multiple sectors.
Flight bookings can be made through Uzbekistan Airways’ official website and authorized travel agents.
