In a prestigious ceremony at Wapda House, Olympian Arshad Nadeem was celebrated for his historic achievement at the Paris Olympics. Nadeem received a substantial cash award of Rs 5 million from Wapda Chairman Lt Gen Sajjad Ghani (Retd).
The Chairman lauded Nadeem’s exceptional performance and highlighted the significant contributions of other Wapda athletes, including Nooh Dasatgir, who won gold in weightlifting, and the Sohail sisters, who also secured gold medals in powerlifting. This event underscored Wapda’s dedication to recognizing and rewarding the achievements of its athletes.
