Indian music sensation Neha Kakkar recently shared her heartfelt thoughts about the bond between India and Pakistan, emphasizing the warmth and love she has received from the neighboring country.
Speaking to journalists in Dubai, Neha was asked about her thoughts on performing in Pakistan, given the immense popularity of her songs across the border. In response, the singer expressed her deep admiration for the support she receives from Pakistani fans.
“Our differences don’t make sense to me. Everyone I meet from Pakistan shows me so much love and positivity,” she said. Neha further remarked, “There’s no difference between Indians and Pakistanis. We are all alike.” She urged for greater unity between the two nations, highlighting the mutual love shared by their people.
Neha also revealed her desire to collaborate with renowned Pakistani vocalist Asim Azhar, praising his hit song “Jo Tu Na Mila.”
The sentiment of artistic camaraderie is not new. Celebrities from both sides of the border often express appreciation for one another despite political tensions. Recently, Indian actresses praised Pakistani star Mahira Khan’s traditional look on Instagram. Similarly, at the IIFA Awards in Abu Dhabi, Bollywood stars Ananya Pandey and Bobby Deol named Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan as their favorite Pakistani actors.
Indian singer Sunidhi Chauhan also reminisced about her collaboration with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, describing the artistic synergy shared by Indian and Pakistani musicians.
In another instance of cross-border goodwill, Indian Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh recently dedicated a heartwarming gesture to Pakistani actress Hania Aamir during his London concert. His call for love and unity resonated with fans, emphasizing the power of shared cultural ties to bridge divides.
Neha Kakkar’s remarks echo the growing sentiment among artists who envision a future where art transcends borders and fosters lasting unity between the two nations.
