Lahore, August 19, 2024 — YouTuber Aun Ali Khosa, known for his satirical song “Bill Bill Pakistan,” is back home safe. His brother confirmed the news on X (formerly Twitter).
Aun went missing on August 15 when armed men took him from their Lahore apartment in the middle of the night. His brother asked people to pray for Aun’s safe return and share the news widely.
The Lahore High Court had ordered the police to find Aun by August 20. Although no official complaint was filed initially, the police promised to act as soon as they received one.
An FIR had reported that the unknown men not only took Aun but also stole his laptop, computer, and camera.
Aun’s song, which highlights high electricity bills in Pakistan, had recently become very popular online.
